New century disaster

My older friend，who is over 50 year-old， are considering

the photo exhibition around Japan.

The theme is about Minamata disease.

He has been a professional commercial photographer.

In his youger days， when no one saw him as a professional photographer， he had gone and lived in Minamata a few years to take photos of people ，the sea and the land suffering by heavymetal.

He lived in the time seriously acute patients had already died.
It was the hardest time for surviving patients because Japanese government would not admit them as patients sufferd by heavymetal poisoned by Chisso company.

At first，people shut down their heart from him.
Many repoters had been coming like a big wave and almost no one had been there after seriously acute patients died.

But He took the licence of fishering boat and helped them.

By little by little，people opened their heart to him.

After a few years passed， he stopped living in Minamata，and went to the commercial advertising photo work.

Something have been left his heart for some 30 years.

When he was called to the Minamata photo exhibiton this year， being remained some hesitaion， he decided to take part in the exhibition.

This type of disease won’t end.
Looking the mainland China， it can not be denied to looking for the wealth.

We are now suffering the smog flew from China.
In Haiti， many children died from poisoned foods from
China.

But We can’t simply blame for China， we walked the same way.
